Historically, individual “E” size cylinders with a separate cylinder regulator have been the norm in filling the individual medical breathing oxygen need. This combination required trained personnel to correctly assemble the regulator on the cylinder, turn the cylinder on with a key and set the flow-rate at the proper setting. When that cylinder was empty, it was necessary to turn the cylinder off, detach the regulator, re-assemble it on another full cylinder, turn the cylinder on and re-set the flow rate properly. Not an easy and quick process, and especially onerous during emergencies.
Enter the “All-in-One” cylinder-regulator package, combining a lightweight aluminum “E” medical oxygen cylinder with an integrated regulator permanently attached to the cylinder. This regulator has a carry handle, contents gauge, and a clickable dial for setting the proper flow-rate quickly and easily.
