A Noble Friend: Michael D. Mahoney

Michael D. Mahoney (Mike)

It has been a month since the passing of Noble’s dear friend, Michael (Mike) D. Mahoney. Mike passed away on Sunday, July 14th 2019, at his residence in Waterford, NY, surrounded by loved ones. Mike is dearly missed by his Noble family and friends. He spent over twenty years manning the store counter in Albany, NY.

During his time at Noble Gas Solutions, he proved to be a valuable resource for the team with his vast technical understanding of the industry.  Customers and colleagues knew they could always depend on Mike for an answer. He passed down his knowledge to new employees and shared his expertise with anyone willing to listen. Prior to being a member of the Noble team, he operated the Cloverleaf Tavern in Mechanicville, NY.

Outside of work, Mike was an avid sports enthusiast. He was a big fan of the N.Y. Mets and loved horse racing. He was a member of various groups in the local community. Mike was a member of the former Camps bowling league, a former member of Knickerbocker Steamer Co #s, and the Waterford Bocce League.

Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served as Grand Marshall of the 2019 Waterford Memorial Day Parade. Mike is dearly missed. You can read his full obituary here.
